Members of the club were generously hosted by Kane Realty for a presentation and property tour of their North Hills Innovation District, the newest phase in the North Hills development. NHID boasts office, residential, and retail that adapts to the surrounding environment.

ICSC & UNC Retail Real Estate Case Competition

Competition History

2024: 1st Place Winner - University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School

The Leonard W. Wood Center for Real Estate Studies was asked to partner with the ICSC Foundation in 2023 to co-host the Retail Real Estate Case Competition at ICSC Las Vegas. This invitation-only case competition is held annually during ICSC Las Vegas.

​​Selden Baldwin, Peyton Youth, Christina Steiner, and Spencer Sabatino represented UNC at the ICSC & UNC Real Estate Case Competition in Las Vegas, competing against 14 schools from across the country.

2023: 2nd Place Winner - University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School

Andre Goldsmith, Olivia Schram, Emily Shih, and Adam Lee represented UNC at the ICSC & UNC Real Estate Case Competition in Las Vegas, earning 2nd place among 11 teams. Indiana University's Kelley School took 1st, and Villanova placed 3rd.
