Educate

At its core, the Undergraduate Real Estate Club is committed to educating students about the broad and dynamic field of commercial real estate. Whether you're a first-year exploring potential careers or a business school student preparing for internships, UREC provides structured learning opportunities to grow your knowledge. Through networking events, weekly speaker events, and club-led skill workshops, students gain a solid foundation in everything from asset classes and development strategy to investment analysis and financial modeling. UREC works closely with the Leonard W. Wood Center for Real Estate Studies to bring top-tier resources into the hands of undergraduates. This includes exposure to industry reports, alumni panels, and access to guest lectures from professionals who have shaped the field. For many students, UREC is the first place they learn how to build a pro forma, evaluate a deal, or understand how real estate development intersects with city planning, capital markets, and sustainable growth. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
